The influence of magnesite emission and chalk oxide (CaO) on inorganic nitrogen content, accessible phosphorus and pH value of tested soil was observed in laboratory conditions. The total ration of melioration medium was fixed at 2 tons resp. 4 tons per hectare. Results have confirmed positive effect not only of CaO but also those of magnesites on the modification of soil pH towards neutral value. The improvement of soil reaction have modified also the representation of inorganic nitrogen because better nitrification have increased the representation of nitrates in soil solution. The most expressive nitrification was observed in variant with NPK-fertilizers application in combination with caustic magnesite in a dose of 4 tons per hectare. The content of accessible phosphorus was positively influenced by application of CaO as well as those of magnesites. Higher effect had chalk oxide
