Levels of structural hormones and flavones in annual shoots of walnut (Juglans regia L.)

This study was carried out to determine relations between structural hormones and flavon content for the 25 years-old walnut tree grown in Van ecology. The shoots taken in dormancy period were grouped as short, medium and long. Stimulators were found in the short shoots, however, inhibitors were in the medium an long shoots. Flavoan contents were determined in short, medium and long shoots 3.89 mg/g and 4.01 mg/g respectively. The relation was not found between structural hormones and flavones, but in the propagation was recommended using from short shoots
