Ammonium fixation and its relationship to important characteristics of some Aegean soils

Eight soil samples were taken from the Odemis plain, in the vicinity of Izmir, in the Aegean region of Turkey. The samples, taken from cultivated land were analyzed for fixed nitrogen (NH4-N) content. Analyses were conducted to determine other soil properties
