Growth, yield and some qualitative characters in 4 different pepper lines were studied at Rajamangala Institue of Technology, Nan Campus. Four pepper lines, namely; 201-3-1, 268-1-2, 268-1-7 and 268-1-8 were planted in randomized complete block design with 3 replications. The study was carried out from June to November 1993. The results revealed that yield in 268-1-2 lines was the highest. Some qualitative characters, hot, skin colour, shape, hardeness, number of seed in this lines were well accepted by consumer. For skin thicknexs and pod lenght, 268-1-8 lines appeared to be well accepted by consumer. It also indicated that 268-1-8 was the shortest lines in height.
