This experiment was conducted to investigate the suitable method in improving breeding ability of frogs. Twelve pairs of mature (10 month of age, 120 and 200 gm body weight for male and female, respectively) frogs were used. The experimental design was CRD with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The experimental treatments were: natural breeding, waterspraying, water spraying+Pituitary extract injection, water spraying+Suprefact injection. Four 2*2*1.2 m concrete ponds wiht floating morning-glory and 5 cm water level were employed. Breeding ability of the frogs varied depending on seasons. In rainy season (22 deg C) breeding behavior of the frogs in all treatments were not different. During the summer (38 deg C), while the natural breeding did not occur, the Pituitary extract injection+water spraying and the Suprefact injection+water spraying did induce breeding desire of the frogs, i.e. 66.66 % and 100 % frogs were mated when they were in the farmer and latter condition. On the other hand, breeding behavior of all frogs were not observed during the winter (14 deg C). In rainy season, the earliest ovulation occured with the frogs injected with Suprefact (5 H. after the injection). The number of tadpole measured at 7 days of age were: 3,862, 2,499, 1,877, 1,845 for the water spraying, natural breeding, Suprefact injection and Pituitary extract injection groups, respectively. During the summer, the earliest ovulation occured with the frogs injected with Suprefact (6h. 38 min after the injection). The number of tadpole measured at 7 days of age were 1,012, 616, 430 for the water spraying, Suprefact injection and Pituitary extract injection groups, respectively
