In all investigated years the proved efficiency of all studied preparations from the group of insect growth inhibitors in control of Leptinotarsa decemlineata population resistant to organophosphorous and carbamate insecticides can be considered very high. In relation to the standard, Bancol 50 WP and Nurelle D, insect growth inhibitors manifested lower initial toxicity. However, 24 hours later a number of larvae significantly decreased on plants. Still their persistence on these variants was great. Certain differences in efficiency within the investigated group of insecticides were determined. The obtained results suggest that Leptinotarsa decemlineata resistant to organophosphorous and carbamate insecticides, is not cross resistant to insecticides from the group of insect growth inhibitors.
