Root system development in African marigold (Tagetes erecta L.) and snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus L.) on different growing media

Influence of five different growing media on root system development of African marigold (Tagetes erecta L.) and snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus L.) has been examined. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the mixture of peat, sand and foliage is the most appropriate for root system development of African marigold and snapdragon.
