With the aim to study the effect of feeding levels of sows during the pregnancy period an experiment was carried out with 50 sows fed at two levels: I group (control) - 2.2-2.7 kg/day and II group (experimental) - 1.9 kg/day during the entire period.Feeding level of sows during the pregnancy didn't affect on number and weight of piglets born alive in a litter (8.4 and 8.4; 1.34 and 1.34 kg for I and II group respectively), on number and weight of piglets in the litter at 14-th day (7.96 and 7.84; 3.48 and 3.41 kg respectively) and on the number of weaned piglets (7.72 and 7.60 respectively).
