Effect of mineral fertilizing, growth regulators and nitragin on lucerne productivity
1999
Nanova, M. (Institut po Furazhite, Pleven (Bulgaria))
Three rates of fertilizing with phosphorus and potassium (16, 24 and 32 kg/da), three rates of fertilizing with nitrogen (8, 16 and 24 kg/da) with two application times (spring and autumn), a presowing treatment of seed with molybdenum and rhizobia and two kinds of seed encapsulation with groth regulators and microelements were tested. It was found that under the conditions of tipical chernozem moderatly supplied with nitrogen and phosphorus and well supplied with potassium, in the region of Central North Bulgaria, under irrigation the phosphorus-potassium fertilizing significanthly increased lucerne yield by 9.3 to 11% and the P16K16 rate was most suitable biologically and economically. The lucerne fertilizing with N16 in autumn increased dry matter yield by 7.0%.
