Study of weight and linear growth of Tench (Tinca tinca L.) cultured in fishponds

Weight and linear growth of 5 age groups of tench, cultured in carp-type ponds, were studied.It has been established that the dynamics of those two parameters is age-dependent.Values of fulton's condition coefficient were not always synchronized with body weight gain.No similarity was established in the dinamics of this coefficient and body fat content in the age groups studied.
