[Cucumber productivity test with different seeds number on pot planting in dry land area in Oemasi village Kupang, NTT (Indonesia)]

The research was conducted to investigate the influence of seeds of each pot on the growth and yield of cucumber, was carried out at Oemasi Village, Kupang-NTT. The experiment was arranged in Randomized Block Design with 4 x 3 factorial pattern. The first factor were the number of seeds which were sown in each pot 1, 2, 3 and 4 seeds and the second factor were Selektani (SLT), Panah Merah (PMR) dan Lokal Asal Bogor (LAB) cucumber. The result of the experiment indicated that the height of plants was not significantly difference after 14 days planting. Meanwhile, the height of plants and the number of leaves were significantly difference in all treatment at the age of 24 days. The higher number of seeds which were sown in each pot, the higher yield of fruit number compare to the less seeds in the pot which were sown. However, the yield of fruit weight in each pot was not significantly difference
