[Increasing the yield of goat's milk by going the animals KNZ salt for licking]

In the given paper the results of the trial carried out on a peasant farm in the region of Jelgava (Latvia) from May 1 to October 31, 1998 are presented. Goats' ration was supplemented with KNZ rock vacuuma salt produced in Denmark. As the result of the trial milk yield was increased by 25.0%, dry matter content - by 0.35%, protein content by o.11%, sugar content - by 0.36%. The consumption of feeding units was reduced by 19.73% and the digestible protein - by 20.05%, compared with the control group.
