[Fiscal problems of Latvian wood export]

In the article the commitment between timbers export and custom duty and problems that arise with abrogation of this custom duty are considered. Price structure and utilization of wood pulp are displayed by concrete facts. Domestic market prices and world market prices and their interconnection are analysed in the paper. As the export customs duty of wood was abrogated in 1999, author advises to undeduct VAT of export production.
