The 1992-97 research concerned "Felopa" and "Sulino", two Polish cultivars of Festulolium, tested under two optimal growing conditions. The results obtained from strict experiments allowed for the evaluation of market value of the cultivars as compared with that of Festuca pratensis Huds. and Lolium multiflorum Lam. Multi-year breeding projects showed a progress in yield quality, plant winterhardiness and in resistance of the Festulolium cultivars to drought. In 1998 "Felopa" and "Sulino" entered the Polish Register of Cultivars
