In three storage seasons the influence of 12 different rootstocks on storage value was examined. Fruit firmness and soluble solid content were measured at harvest time and after 120-day storage. Percentage fruit weight losses and the number of fruits infected by fungal diseases and with symptoms physiological disorders were calculated. No significant influence of fruit firmness was found. Fruits from trees grafted on rootstocks T337, P2, M26 had the highest soluble solid content. The lowest fruit weight losses were recorded in fruits from rootstocks M9Emla and 57-490. No rootstock influence on number of fruits affected by fungal diseases was detected
