1999
Vetter, L. (University of Applied Sciences, Neubrandenburg (Germany). Dept. of Agriculture and Landscape Architecture)
A major issue of discussion on the nature and coast conservation at the Baltic Sea is to remove dikes along present polders and to restore salt grassland biotope, which has become an endangered biotope. To take these aim landscape planers, ecologists agronomists and the local authorities are as well involved. The basic inventory of the lanscape as vegetation, soil, soil beetles, altitude and other import variables as the nutritive quality of the vegetation and economic parameters are collected. With the help of GIS the data are managed, analysed and maintained
