Changes in nitrogen content in rape and hemp as a result of irrigation with sewage water

Irrigation with sewage water did not increase the content of total nitrogen in rape and hemp plants. Content of mineral nitrogen was higher at the time of intensive plant growth then at harvest and the effect of sewage on N-NH4 and N-NO3 content was similar. In the soil the content of total and easy to hydrolize nitrogen increased with the quality of sewage water used for irrigation while the content of mineral nitrogen did not change
