2000

It was found that the content of sulphur sulphate ranged from 0.1 to 19.2 mg/100 g, on average 1.5 mg/100 g in very light soils and from 0.1 to 47.7 mg/100 g, on average 1.9 in light soils. The mean total sulphur content reached 29.7 mg/100 g and 30.3 mg/100 g in very light and light soils respectively. The amounts of plant-available sulphur contained on average 9.7 mg/100 g in very light soils and 11.5 mg/100 g in light soils. The low content of sulphur sulphate (1.5 mg/100 g) was shown in 63.6 percent of very light soils and 55.8 percent of light ones. On the basis of the statistic analysis it was found that organic material significantly influenced on total and organic sulphur content as well as on sulphate from plant-available sulphur
