The paper presents a number of cascades and sets of hydroelectric power plants representing a great value as monuments of technic and elements of touring on picturesque Polish rivers. It presents also rivers the energetistic resources of which have not fully been utilized and defines conditions of preservation of old water power plants as heritage of technical culture
