ACSAD has paid attention to the goats as an important animal since its establishment in 1971. For this reason ACSAD presents this valuable reference on the classification and characteristics of goat breeds in the Arab countries to lay the basic foundation for the development of goat production. The study was divided into the following three parts: Geography, topography and ecological conditions of the Arab world. Goats in the Arab World, and semi intensive production systems.
