The contents of Mn, Cu, Zn and Pb have been ascertained in the cambisolic andosol of the climax spruce stand (group of types of geobiocens Sorbi aucupariae-Piceeta) in dependence of the slope exposure (SW-MW). The releasable amounts of investigated risk elements found in the profiles of 2 soils did not overstepped the hygienic limits and varied in the following spans: Mn from 55 to 262 mg per kg, Cu from 6 to 16 mg per kg, Zn from 17 to 38 mg per kg, and Pb from 1 to 10 mg per kg. The contents of Cu,, Pb and Zn in the soil with a SW slope exposure were decreasing towards subsoil, while the maximum content of Zn in the soil with a NW slope exposure (38 mg per kg) and of Mn in the both soils (NW-260 mg per kg, SW-140 mg per kg) was found in the midle B(val) horizon. In comparison with an A horizon the mean amount of releasable zinc in the B(val) horizon was higher about 6 mg per kg, but of manganese up to 90 mg per kg (SW exposure of a slpoe) and 180 mg per kg (NW exposure of slope)
