In the south-western part of the Slovak Republic in the warm and moderate dry climate region, the effect of organic compounds and their mixtures (first experiment), the effect of mineral macro- and microelements with magnesium and organomineral complexes (second experiment) and the date of their optimal application on the sugar beet yield and quality in small plot experiments was studied. As originate from results the complex of organic compounds with Mg2+ ions affects synergically, but less effectively than the mixture of organic compounds mixtures with Mg2+ and additional macro- and micronutrients. The sulphate form of magnesium have better effect as the nitrate form. The optimal term of the organomineral complexes application is in the phase of the 8th to 11th leaf (mainly of the 9th - 10 leaf). Complexes present in the Avit-35 liquid fertiliser affect expressively synergically mainly on the root yield of sugar beet, less on the sugar content increase. Nearly all of applied matters decrease the content of ash substances in the sugar beet roots, consequently of the extractability of refined sugar increase. The optimal composition of the organomineral complex mixture consist from 2.97 kg of ethanolamine, 0.03 kg of the mixture ureasalicylate with urea, 0.9 kg of magnesium in the form of sulphate and 0.36 kg of the additional macro- and micronutrients
