State, problems and needs of participants in schools and community on the local curriculum management about cattle raising of elementary schools under the Jurisdiction of Ratchaburi Provincial Primary Education Office

Purposes of this research were to study the state and problems of the local curriculum management about cattle raising, the needs of participants in schools about the local curriculum management about cattle raising, the problems of cattle raising and the needs of community in the local curriculum management about cattle raising. The sample consisted of 7 administrators, 17 teachers, 253 students, 1 supervisor, and 58 farmers. Data were collected by interview and questionaires. The data were analyzed by using percentage and content analysis. The research findings were 1) Elementary schools under the Jurisdiction of Aumphur Potharam Primary Education Office had never been managed local curriculum because they were lack of the officers, lack of the place to cattle raising, lack of the budget to cattle raising. 2) Administrators, teachers and students needed local curriculum management about cattle raising, they gave the reason that students could transfer their knowledge to help their family in dairy farming. 3) The farmer's problems were artificial insemination failure and cattle's diseases, particulary mastitis. They needed to know the causes and signes of these problems. Most of the farmers needed the school to set up the local curriculum about cattle raising for their kids in elementary schools.
