Method is presented for planning and utilizing sugarcane mechanization. It integrates procedures, assuring an adequate relationship between soil and climate conditions on the one hand and advanced machinery and agronomic management on the other. It can lead to marked cane yield increases. Based on a mathematical model, the minimum number of machines required can be estimated together with a program for their use, which minimizes costs.
