Study on super sweet corn-vegetable soybean production system

Study on Vegetable soybean-super sweet corn in production system was conducted for the second year at Chiang Mai Field Crops Research Center in rainy season, 1989. There were sole cropping, intercropping and delay cropping system. Super sweet corn was main crop, while vegetable soybean was grown into two rows between the row of sweet corn. The spacing of sweet corn was 100*50 cm with, plant per hill, where vegetable soybean was 40*20 cm, with 1 plant per hill, Sweet corn and vegetable can grow together as intercropping or delay cropping system. However, growing vegetable soybean (TVB no.1) at 60-70 days after growing super sweet corn produced the highest land equivalent ratio (1.47-1.71).
