Effects of N at the rates of 15, 30 kgs/rai and K 10, 20, 30 kgs/rai as compare with mixed fertilizer 15-15-15 at 50 kgs/rai and no fertilizer, on growth and yield of Curcuma longa Linn. were studied during May 9, 1996 - January 18, 1997. There were no statistical difference among treatment on rhizome yield, plant height and clump diameter. The highest rhizome yield per clump was stotatned from the treatment applied with N 30 kgs(ai)/rai in combination with K 20 kgs(ai)/rai in combination with K 20 kgs(ai)/rai. The highest number of plants per clump was also obtained from the same treatment, as well as a treatment with 15*15*15 at 50 kgs/rai, and was significantly higher than the other treatments.
