Swine farmer's potential in environmental management

Study on Swine Farmer's Potentail in Environmental Management was done to obtain the data on socio-economic factors relating to their opinion, ability, potential and needs including their background knowledge and understanding on environmental problems. The results obtained showed that the average of swine farmer family size was 5.1 person/household, an average age was 38 years, educational levels were from lower than the elementary to higher than high school, total yearly income was 640,158.04 baht/household and their expenditure was 266,904.00 baht/household. On hypothesis confirmation found the different of total yearly income and expenses found some statistical significant differences on farmer's readiness potential. The different of within farm environmental knowledges and understanding of farmers found some statistical significant differences on their total ability potential. For the other different factors as educational background, family sizes and occupation did not show any statistical significant difference on their total potential of needs, readiness and ability on farm management.
