Tractor adjustement for exploitation conditions regarding to traction

In everyday use of tractor, it is possible to maximize it's adjustment to exploitation conditions by regular choice of tires, tire's inflation pressure and ballast management. This will result in better tractive forces, lower fuel consumption and lower soil compaction. The paper presents main problems that appear when dealing with tire design characteristics, tire inflation and ballast selection depending on farming activities. Serious consideration of this problems indicates needs for their solving in practice, with benefits in lower costs of agricultural production with minimal, or without any additional costs.
