Agronomical and technological characteristics of the perspective hybrid combinations of the confectionary sunflower

The investigation was carried out to study of new hybrid lines of the confectionery sunflower. The hybrid combinations 31A x R4 and 57A x R5 showed significantly higher content of proteins in kernel as well as shorter vegetation and lower plant height compared to the standard cultivar Kolos. The laboratory air-jet impact dehuller was used for determining optimal size of independently variable factors: the level of kernels moisture and the air pressure. All investigated hybrid combinations showed more effective dehulling than the standard.
