This dissertation encompasses valorization of geographical bases of agricultural output in one of most interesting production locations of hill-mountain regions of Serbia (Yugoslavia). Leskovac Valley extends as a part of the Rhodope System, in the central part of the South Morava course. On the area of 1,929 square kilometers there are about 49.000 population that are engaged in agriculture. Area arrangement of agricultural output is determined owing to natural and social conditions. In the last decades there have been changes in the structure of agricultural land use in direction of making ploughland, vineyard and pastures areas smaller, while orchard and meadow parts have slightly grown up. At the same time, in the structure of ploughed land, areas under wheat have been made smaller, and areas under vegetables and forage increased. In crop farming in Leskovac valley the foodgrain output is present, as well, and also some kinds of industrial crops, animal forage plants and a great number of various kinds of vegetables. It is vegetable growing that has special significance in aggregate agriculture of the valley and in economic effects. Greater part of vegetable output that is raised on open and covered areas in for market. Fruit growing, grape growing and livestock raising are tradicional agricultural branches in Leskovac valley. But, in spite of that, there is decline in grape growing and decline and stagnation in livestock number. Leskovac valley agriculture perspectives are in developing intensive agricultural output.
