An experiment was carried out in the priod from 10 kg to 25 kg live weight with 48 growing hybrid pigs.Piglets of both groups received combined fodder with equal content of crude protein (18%), balanced in essential aminoacids lysine (1.25%), methionine+cystine (0.73%), threonine (0.72%) with exception of tryptophan -0.16% and 0.23% for control and experimental group respectively. For experimental group as a source of tryptopfan was used the product tryptosine, with content of 55% L-lysine, 15% L-tryptophan and 15% fermentation residues.Balancing of combined fodder for tryptophan in the experimental group to level of 0.23% with additive of tryptosine increased the average daily gain of pigs with 8.0%, and improved forage and protein utilization with 6.0% compared to controlled animals.Tryptosine was the same biological effect as L-lysine HCL.
