Imidacloprid was studied to investigate whether the compound can be used in IPM programs in glasshouse sweet peppers. The efficacy of drench applications on the green peach aphid Mizus persicae and the side-effects on the predatory bug Orius laevigatus was tested. Imidacloprid efficiently controlled the green peach aphid at a dosage which was harmless to the predatory bug
