The author discusses the pathomorphology of selected bovine viral respiratory conditions with an aim of augmenting diagnostic efforts of bovine practitioners.For this reason, the differential diagnosis of these conditions in discussed in detail and extensively illustrated.Complications of viral infections are categorised as either infectious (bacterial,fungal) or noninfectious ("contact" langugeal ulcer) in origin.Hungarian researchers made extensive contribution to the description of certain bovine viral respiratory conditions (adenoviral-,some herpesviral infections), which are discussed in detail by the author.
