Root rot disease of cucumber in soilless cultures were controlled by recirculation of ozonated water after circulation of nutrient solution. In nutrient solutions which infected with zoospores of Pythium aphanidermatum, severity of cucumber root rot has been occurred, but, few disease has been occurred in hydroponic cultures system which recirculated 1 ppm of ozonated water for 60 minutes after every time circulation of nutrient solution. In conventional hydroponic cultural system about 87% cucumber plants were infected with Pythium root rot, but only 10% root, rot disease has been appeared in ozonated water recirculation system. Motility of zoospores were stopped within 3 minutes in 1 ppm of ozonated water, and sterilized within 15 minutes. Cysted zoospores on root surfaces were also sterilized by recirculation of ozonated water with in 120 minutes of infection, but not sterilized zoospores on root surface with ozonated waters after more than 4 hours infection. The results shown that recirculated system of ozonated water has been more effective for control of Pythium root rot for the reason of prevention of zoospores infection in hydroponics
