The feeds which were mixed "Tofu" cake with corn flake or rolling barley or wheat bran were examined their palatability, ingestion of nutrition, daily gain and meat quality in Holstein steers or Holstein x Japanese Black heifer (F1). 1) As well as a commercial concentrate feed (control), "tofu" cake-corn flake mixture feed was superior to rolling barley or wheat bran in the palatability and ingestion of nutrition. 2) Compared with mixtures of "tofu" cake with rolling barley (0.95 kg/day) or wheat bran (0.73 kg/day) gains of corn flake mixture (1.05 kg/day) and commercial concentrate feed (1.08 kg/day) were increased. 3) The beef marbling score of wheat bran fed heifer was higher than the other experimental groups. 4) Because beef cattle in all experimental groups took much more concentrate feeds rather that hey from earier term of fatting, thick body fat tissues accumulated especially on the loin eyes
