The present studies were carried out on three low chilling apple cultivars viz. Anna, Ein-Schiemer and Tropical Beauty at Horticultural Research Station, Soan Valley during 1995-97. Anna fruits were significantly larger in size laving 7.67 cm length and 7.10 cm diameter as compared to the minimum size (5.19 cm length x 4.53 cm diameter) in cv. Tropical Beauty. Weight of a fruit was also maximum (138.67 g) in cv. Anna and minimum (127.67 g) in Tropical Beauty. Fruits of Anna and Ein- Schiemer mature in 2nd week of July and Tropical Beauty in late August. Significantly highest number of fruits / tree (363) and weight (45.69 kg) was attained in Tropical Beauty and least in other cultivars. The difference in Brix (TSS) was non-significant among cultivars. Although Tropical Beauty gave more production but Anna is recommended for early maturity, large size fruit and better colour.
