Compared to the Rubin cultivar the semileafless cultivar Ramir was characterized by a lower plant density per square m by 12.3 percent and a lower mass of 1000 seeds by 10.8 percent, whereas the number of seeds per pod and the number of pods per plant were higher by 18 and 6.3 percent respectively. The mean contribution of individual variables to the seed yield of pea estimated on the basis of the determination coefficient, was the following: 23 percent for the number of pods per plant, 23 percent for the number of seeds per pod, 19 percent for the mass 1000 seeds and 35 percent for the plant density at harvest, and varied depending on the level of yielding and the cultivar
