Study of cashew thrips (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) in the flower of cashew at Kamphaeng Saen, Nakhon Pathom, found more than 3 species of flower thrips. The most common species were Thrips hawaiiensis (Morgan) at 87.4 percent and Selenothrips rubrocinctus Giard at 4.3 percent. The number of thrips followed the number of blooming flowers closely with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.811. There was no correlation between the number of thrips on cashew flowers and the number of fruits set. Further investigations need to be done on the effects of flower thrips. Fruits set came mainly from the number of hermaphrodite or perfect flower with the correlation coefficient of 0.959.
