Main objectives of this study were to analyze factor influencing farmers' acceptance of corn in substitution for dry season rice, to compare net revenue, and to indicate the economic efficiency of factors used in corn production. The total of 103 farm households were randomly sampled and interviewed for this study. The result showed that by using Cobb-Douglas production function ; labor and cash expenses, were two important factors significantly affected corn production. The Multinomial logit Model and Maximum likelihood Estimates indicated that age and education level of head household were major factors that influenced the acceptance of corn in substitution for dry season rice. Moreover, the study on cost-benefit analysis revealed that production cost of corn was lower than that of dry season rice resulting in the higher profit per rai.
