Microtuberization of potato in a two phase system

In our country most of the seed tubers are imported. Recent studies demonstrated the potential of microtubers to be used as seed material. In the present study microtuberization potential of three most commonly cultivated potato cultivars (Ausonia, Granola and Marfona) of Turkey were investigated. In all cultivars in vitro cultures were established from original tubers. Microtuberization potentials were investigated by employing solid-solid (one phase) and solid-liquid (two phase) tuberization systems. In both systems effect of activated charcoal were studied
