The research work is focussed on the development of the objective way to estimate the testes sperm quality that correlates with spermatozoa's fertilizing ability. The linear velocity of spermatozoa movement is found to be a specific and breed trait of sperm quality and not to depend on volume of an ejaculate, concentration and initial mobility of gametes. It is caused by duration of incubation and the temperature of the medium which the sperm is incubated in. In the course of freezing-unfreezing the linear velocity of movement of spermatozoa decreased by 31.7 %. Long-term storage of sperm in liqiud nitrogen did not cause decrease in the linear velocity of spermatozoa. Functional dependence is found to be between indices of the linear velocity of movement of the bulls' unfreezed and incubated spermatozoa and their fertilizing ability
