Experimental electric spark equipment for tobacco leaves treatment with energy doses supply depending on the tobacco leaves main vein length has been described in the paper. The laboratory test results about allocation of plant texture damage degree prove less damage of the tobacco leaves top part when the treatment of the main vein is with energy doses in comparison with constant energy treatment. The two complete factor experiments, which have been carried out, present the great influence of the tested regime parameters (treatment voltage, velocity of the transportation line, discharging condenser capacity and input power of the equipment) on technological efficiency of the equipment. The tereatment voltage has the higher influence in both experiments. The results from equipment tests in industrial condition show no use of electrical spark treatment of leaves from the top part of the tobacco plant with voltage above 5 kV, because it reduce the quality of dried tobacco.
