With the purposes of protection of perennial legume grasses from root rot it is recommended to underseed its in grass sod after cereals by the dressed seeds. At seeding in grass sod after the legume-cereal with clover and lucerne in grass stands it is expedient to use bird's-foot trefoil. The underseeding of red clover and bird's-foot trefoil in grass sod of timothy or meadow fescue is most effective
