[Efficiency of selection work with large white pigs in Belarus]

Large white breed is the main breed of pigs in Belarus. Purposeful selection has resulted in the creation of breeding herds of sows (1926 in total number) with the fallowing productivity: litter size 11.66 piglets, age at 100 kg of live weigth 185 days and bakfat thickness 27.5 mm
