Español; castellano. The objective this work was to study the biology of Lagria villosa Fabr. 1781 (Coleoptera: Lagriidae) in Chinese cabbage (Brassica oleraceae). The experiment was conducted in B.O.D. (medium temperature: 24 + - 0,10 degree C; photoperiod: 12:12; relative humidity = 80%). The eggs of masses of L. villosa have the form of cone, showed 4.17 and 2.67 mm in the largest and smaller width, respectively, and 4.88 mm length. The number of eggs/masses was about 300. The eggs are of color yellows, fiat surface and oblong format (0.36 x 0.69 mm). The viability and the incubation period were of 87% and 5 days, respectively. The larvae get 14 mm length, period and viability larval were 43 days and 32%, respectively. The pupae of L. villosa are yellowwhite color (type exarata), showed 3.03 nim width, 8.65 mm length and weight of 41.50 mg. The period and the pupae viability were of 5 days and 85%, respectively. The females of L. villosa were 0.45 mm wide, 1.10 mmn length and heavy (78.40 mg) out the males 0.28 and 0.96; 50.00 mg, respectively. The longevity of adults were about 59 days and the period of pre-oviposition of 25 days
