[Eradication of swine dysentery by Pleuromutilins - the drugs of first choice for therapy and eradication]

The first part of the article summarizes clinical symptoms, predisposition factors and treatment of swine dysentery. The other chapters are focused on swine dysentery eradication methods, especially on that which is the most frequently used in the Czech Republic, i.e. the use of drug therapy without herd repopulation. The most important principles and different phases of this eradication method are presented in the paper.
