Streptococcoses are widely distributed diseases in swine industry and may be caused by different species and types of strptococci. More often they proceed in septicaemic (acute) or in bacteriaemic (chronic) forms causing meningites, S. suis infections in young pigs, endometrites, arthrites, abscesses and pulmonites. Authors investigating spread of subclinical diseases on the slaughtered swine from the 5 swine farms, found, that from the pigs organs were isolated streptococci in 58,3 per cent cases, it is approximately 3,1 times more frequences than others isolated potencial pathogenic bacteria. Taking into -account abovementioned the purpose was to typed freshly isolated strains of streptococci to serogroups and to species. Investigations show that from the slaughtered swine 145 strains of streptococci were typed by Lancfield sera 107 /75,3 per cent). From the pulmones were often isolated S suis in 83,6 per cent cases (D and S groups respectively 55,6 and 28 per cent) and S. pyogenes (A group 7,7 per cent)
