Effects made by the development of food packaging as well as by the changes in food consumption on communal waste formation

Packaging, consumption and waste formation are factors with close interrelation making reciprocal effects on each other. Their growth results in the enlargement of the bulk of communal waste materials both in principle and practically. With special respect to the continuously rising importance of the environmental aspects the extent and pace of changes and interrelations cannot be indifferent. This article is making an attempt to quantify these effects highlighting the question: what kind of changes is made by the modification of food consumption to the mass of unused communal wastes
