On the dynamics of phytoplankton biomass in fish ponds to nutrient variations

The paper surveyed experimental results obtained from the numerical simulations of phytoplankton biomass growth dynamics to various nutrient rate variations in fish ponds. The mathematical model employed includes 26 relations out of which five are partial derivates state equations. The model based upon studies carried out on a fish pond of max. 2 m depth. The pond was considered a distributed parameter dynamics system and its control parameters are the feeding rate, and the nitrogen and phosphorous nutrient concentrations in the inlet water
