The first article of the series about leukocytes and their quantitive and qualitative changes in the blood is describing the appropriate method of smear examination. Neutrophil granulocytes and changes in their quantity in the blood are also examined. Neutrophilia means the increase of the number of neutrophil granulocytes in the circulation.
